Sigma Chi Psi Sorority serves women who attend college online, but it is not an online sorority. It was created to give members the in-person sisterhood, social activities, community service, and meaningful relationships that can be harder to find without a traditional campus experience.

Members have contributed more than 76,000 hours through community service, good deeds, and other forms of giving that support children, families, schools, disaster response, health programs, and neighborhood needs.

Service shaped around real community needs

Sigma Chi Psi members have supported children and families through tutoring, mentoring, child advocacy, food and supply distribution, care packages, and assistance for people experiencing hardship.

Their work also includes disaster response, shelter and recovery support, health and wellness efforts, clothing and household donations, and neighborhood projects. Members serve where they live, allowing one sisterhood to contribute across many communities.

Online students deserve in-person sisterhood

Sigma Chi Psi was created for women attending online and nontraditional colleges and universities. Although members may take classes online, the sorority is built to create genuine in-person friendships, shared experiences, social activities, and service opportunities.

Members gather through chapters and organization events while staying connected between those experiences. Technology helps support communication, but it does not define the sisterhood.

A newer sorority creating a lasting service culture

Sigma Chi Psi is still building its history, traditions, and national reach. Its members are already showing that students who attend college online can form strong personal connections and become active contributors in their communities.

Each act of service adds to a larger culture of care, responsibility, and sisterhood. The locations and projects may differ, but members share one purpose: building relationships and using those relationships to help others.

The Gold Standard of Excellence

GLOs United recognizes Sigma Chi Psi members for bringing women who attend college online together for genuine sisterhood, in-person connection, and service in the communities they call home.
